A powerful and well-balanced splitting axe developed for efficient splitting of medium to large logs. With a handle length of 800 mm and a head weight of 1.9 kg, the axe delivers high impact force and strong penetration through the wood, making splitting faster and more efficient.
The curved edge reduces bounce on impact and provides a controlled bite into the log. This makes handling and turning logs easier without getting stuck. Despite its substantial weight, great care has been taken with balance and ergonomics, ensuring the axe does not feel heavy in hand even during repeated use.
The slightly curved handle is designed to provide an optimal balance between control, strength and precision in the swing. The design is inspired by classic Swedish splitting axes and combines traditional form with modern performance.
The axe is hand-forged in Sweden from high-quality steel and supplied with a leather sheath for safe transport and storage.
