Ever since Hultafors started making knives, we have strived to offer unique solutions to match specific needs in various crafts. Bushcraft is no exception. When discovering that our craftsmen’s knives had become favorites with the outdoor crowd as well – we got inspired to develop knives especially suited to their needs. The result is a range of knives dedicated to bushcraft and outdoor life.
Outdoor Knife OK1 - For tough tasks in the field
This heavy duty Outdoor knife was developed to be hardwearing and tough for rough duties in the outdoors. The large handle in durable PP plastic has a 82 mm long tang which makes the knife suitable for batoning.
Add the 3.0 mm thick blade made from Japanese carbon steel hardened to 58-60 HR and it is easy to see this is a knife designed to take a beating.
The textile belt loop allows up to 80 mm wide belts and is equipped with a pocket for a fire starter. The cutting edge has a scandi grind for ultimate long-lasting sharpness and easy to resharpen if needed.
To withstand rust and corrosion the blade has a protective electrophoretic deposition coating (EPD), as well as an engraved scale. The grinded spine of the blade is designed for starting a fire with a fire starter.

Outdoor Knife OK4 - Versatile and powerful
An outdoor knife must be hardwearing and robust. That is why we gave the OK4 a 3.0 mm extra thick blade in Japanese carbon steel hardened to 58-60 HRC, as well as an 82 mm long tang inside the handle. This makes the knife suitable for batoning.
The handle is fitted with a Santoprene friction grip for extra control. The cutting edge has a scandi grind for long-lasting sharpness and is easy to re-sharpen if needed. The grinded spine of the blade is designed for starting a fire with a fire starter.

Japanese steel and a scandinavian grind for longlasting sharpness
The two Outdoor knives OK 1 and OK 4, both come in 3 mm thick Japanese knife steel with a Scandi grind for longlasting sharpness. A black EPD-coating protects the blade from rust, and the grinded spine of the blade is designed for starting a fire with a fire starter. The long tang makes the knives suitable for batoning.

Compact design with a big area of use. Simple and safe locking of the blade with a button on the side of the handle. The belt clip is reversible and can be mounted on both sides of the handle. This enables you to choose how you wish to carry the knife, fastened to a belt or on the inside of a pocket.
