Hultafors has a long tradition of developing measuring tools in Hultafors. Our folding rule production is already based here, and the new factory further strengthens our role as the Nordic competence center for measurement.
When production starts, the factory will produce approximately 20 million meters of tape measure per year.

More sustainable production
The new factory replaces our production in England and represents a clear environmental step forward. The production process is modernized with gentler cleaning methods and improved chemicals in the pre-treatment of the bands.
The facility is also designed for high energy efficiency, where modern heating systems make it possible to recover process energy.
The first products from the factory are already in production and are expected to reach the market shortly.
