Clever features

The Hultafors steel tapes come as three different models. Hultafors BT is a robust tape for carpenters with a rubber end hook that won’t leave marks on sensitive surfaces. The SL model is slim and easy to fit and grab in your pocket, whereas Hultafors PR offers the latest in ergonomic design and clever features.

All share the same high precision of the unique scale printing technique. In 2017 Hultafors PR, BT and SL are the only Tape Measures on the market whose precision is certified with EC Class I.

Focus on what matters

Some competing brands take pride in their tapes’ ability to “stand out” without folding. Maximizing the stand-out length is something we have deliberately chosen not to. It’s really not that complicated, it’s all about taking a wide tape and deepening the concave curve of the blade. But it also results in the tape measure being awkward to carry and with bigger risk of reading errors since the scale won’t be in contact with measuring surface.
